Orlando (Fla.) Bishop Moore three-star defensive tackle Jonathon MacCollister has found the school that he plans to call home for the next four years.

MacCollister committed to Brian Kelly & Co. on Friday while in town with his parents for the annual Irish Invasion.

He picked Notre Dame over his other two finalists: Ohio State and Oregon.

"I have been watching Notre Dame ever since I was a little kid," MacCollister previously told Blue & Gold Illustrated. "My mom is all about education and when I told her about Notre Dame she was just so happy because of the academic package."

MacCollister, who is unranked at the time, plays both ways at Bishop Moore, and while he initially burst into the recruiting scene the spring before his junior season as a tight end, Notre Dame plans to use him on the defensive side of the ball.

"He's in the mold of current freshman end Khalid Kareem," Blue & Gold Illustrated football analyst Bryan Driskell wrote on Friday. "His game is all about power, making him the ideal fit for Notre Dame’s three-technique position. He's a bit of a cross between Kareem and junior Jonathan Bonner, but MacCollister has a bit more quickness at this point than both of those players at the same age."

MacCollister played this past season alongside Notre Dame signee Parker Boudreaux for a Bishop Moore squad that won a FHSAA Class 5A state championship. The 6-4, 253-pound jumbo athlete is ranked by as the No. 2 prospect in Central Florida per the Orlando Sentinel's Super60. He also holds offers from Clemson, Auburn, Miami and UCLA.
