Make it two from Orlando.

Notre Dame picked up its second commitment of the weekend from the Central Florida area on Saturday when Winter Park (Fla.) High three-star wide receiver Jordan Pouncey gave a verbal pledge to Brian Kelly minutes after the Irish Invasion.

Pouncey picked the Irish over Alabama, Florida, Tennesee, Georgia, Duke, South Carolina and Auburn.

"When I was a little kid I use to watch the movie Rudy at least once a week," Pouncey said. "Just with the prestige of not only the university but also the football program ... It's something else.

"They play a national schedule. They are a national contender every year and that's something that I really like. It's not too flashy, but it's not plain. It's Notre Dame and that's the only way that I can explain it."

Pouncey, who is unranked by Rivals.com as the time, plays both ways at Winter Park High. He was recruited by some schools to play defensive back, but the Irish project him as a playmaker on the offensive side of the ball, which is something that he likes.

"A lot of my game is based around [ex-Notre Dame wide receiver Will Fuller] because of what he can do. He's No. 7 and I'm No. 7 and I take that to heart and try to be just like him," Pouncey said.

The 6-3, 182-pound Pouncey is the first wide receiver to commit to Notre Dame this cycle. The No. 6 prospect in Central Florida per the Orlando Sentinel's Super60 also becomes the fourth Florida recruit in the class joining three-star defensive end Jonathon MacCollister — who committed to Notre Dame on Friday — three-star linebacker Drew White and three-star offensive guard Dillan Gibbons.
