Friday's portion of the draft has concluded, with six Irish players off the board through three rounds:

1st Round

No. 6 — Stanley (BAL)

No. 21 — Fuller (HOU)

2nd Round

No. 34 — Smith (DAL)

No. 50 — Martin (HOU)

3rd Round No. 74 — Russell (KC)

No. 90 — Prosise (SEA)

With six selected, as many as five former Notre Dame players could hear their name called Saturday during Rounds 4-7, with defensive tackle Sheldon Day almost guaranteed to go first. The other possible draftees are receiver Chris Brown, defensive lineman Romeo Okwara, safeties Elijah Shumate and Matthias Farley.

Saturday's coverage begins at noon on ESPN. Once it concludes, a flurry of players will sign undrafted free agent deals.

Running back C.J. Prosise became the fourth former Irish player chosen in the NFL Draft on Friday evening. The Seattle Seahawks drafted him with the No. 90 overall pick and the 27th in the 3rd Round.

Prosise moved to running back one year ago and rushed for 1,032 yards and 11 touchdowns. He struggled with injuries down the stretch.

Prosise originally played at safety with the Irish before moving to slot receiver and, eventually, running back.

Cornerback KeiVarae Russell has been selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round with the No. 74 overall pick.

He is the fifth Irish player chosen in the draft after two went in the first round and two in the second.

He missed the entire 2014 season due to an academic suspension, but returned to Notre Dame for his senior season in 2015. He struggled in his final season in South Bend and said he suffered a stress fracture in August before enduring a broken tibia in November that ended his season.

Another former Irish player is off the board. Center Nick Martin was just selected by the Houston Texans with the No. 50 overall pick, and the 19th pick of the second round.

Martin joins receiver Will Fuller (No. 21 overall) as Texans draft choices.

It marks the first time since 1993 that Notre Dame has produced four top-50 draft choices.

Jaylon Smith received an outpouring of support after he was drafted 34th overall by the Dallas Cowboys:

7:31 p.m.

If my math is correct, the loss of value insurance policy will pay out $900,000 to the former Irish linebacker — $700,000 for falling out of the first round and an additional $200,000 for the two picks in the second round in which he was not chosen.

7:24 p.m.

Former Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith came off the board in the NFL Draft on Friday evening and is headed to Dallas after the Cowboys selected him with the 34th overall pick, the third in the second round.

6:30 p.m.

The second evening of the NFL Draft begins tonight at 7 p.m., with as many as five Notre Dame players who could hear their names called in Rounds 2 and 3.

The main storyline of tonight's NFL Draft will be when linebacker Jaylon Smith is selected after suffering a torn ACL and LCL and nerve damage less than four months ago.

The other four Irish players that could go tonight are defensive lineman Sheldon Day, center Nick Martin, cornerback KeiVarae Russell and running back C.J. Prosise.
