COLUMBUS — Two of Harry Hiestand's top targets on the offensive line were in action this past weekend at the Rivals Camp Series Presented by Under Armour. Notre Dame four-star offensive tackle commit Joshua Lugg and uncommitted five-star tackle Jedrick Wills both competed against some of the area's top defensive linemen on Saturday.

Wills, who is ranked by Rivals.com as the nation's No. 3 offensive tackle, told Blue & Gold Illustrated that a return trip to South Bend is on deck ($). He fared well against underclassmen defensive ends like Dante Stills and Ani Izuchukwu, and remains a priority for Hiestand and the rest of the Irish coaching staff.

Lugg on the other hand had a mixed outing going up against three-star tight end/defensive end LaTrell Bumphus, who holds offers from the likes of Tennessee, Auburn, USC, Oregon and Texas A&M. Bumphus got the best of Lugg on a speed rush in the first drill before the 6-7, 295-pound tackle, who is still recovering from a sports hernia that was repaired in January, was able to rebound and stymie the speedy end on the next few reps.

"It was good to see Lugg get out there and show the progress he made," Rivals.com Mid-Atlantic recruiting analyst Adam Friedman said. "We know he's coming back from an injury, and he just got cleared, so he wasn't in prime shape, but he played much stronger than he looks. I still think pass blocking wise there's still a little ways to go, and he looked a little bit more like a right tackle than left tackle, but he was patient, which wasn't easy."

The Wexford (Pa.) North Allegheny product will return to South Bend this weekend for the Blue-Gold Game to hang out with a number of other Notre Dame commits. He is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 13 offensive tackle in the class and the nation's No. 76 overall prospect.

The 6-4, 316-pound Wills is pegged as the No. 13 overall prospect in the county and the top prospect in Kentucky. He earned an invite to the Rivals Five-Star Challenge on Saturday and is also considering Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Kentucky amongst other schools.
