Notre Dame has landed its fourth commitment in as many days.

Mansfield (Texas) High three-star cornerback Paulson Adebo gave a verbal pledge to the Irish on Monday.

Adebo picked Notre Dame over Baylor, TCU, LSU, Oregon, Duke and Oklahoma.

While the 6-1, 174-pound Adebo listed by Rivals.com as the No. 60 wide receiver in the country, he's being recruited by defensive backs coach Todd Lyght to play cornerback.

“Coach Lyght is a cool guy,” Adebo said back in March. “He has talked a lot about how he went to Notre Dame and was an All-American. So it seems like he’s really someone you can look up to as far as being and going through the process and really knowing what it takes to get to the next level.”

Adebo joins Orlando (Fla.) Bishop Moore three-star defensive end Jonathon MacCollister, Winter Park (Fla.) High three-star wide receiver Jordan Pouncey and Indianapolis Cathedral sophomore running back Markese Stepp as recent commitments for the Irish. He also joins Cypress Cy-Fair Rivals100 tight end Brock Wright and Cedar Hill three-star quarterback Avery Davis as Notre Dame commits from Texas.

The rising senior caught 41 passes for 730 yards and 11 touchdowns this past season. He added five interceptions on defense and ran a 10.83 in the 100m back in March.
