Video: Mike Denbrock Impressed With Corey Holmes, Talks Spring Ball

Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly said last week that Notre Dame’s fastest wide receiver was rising junior Corey Holmes, who clocked a 4.39 in the 40-yard dash during spring testing. Monday, associate head coach Mike Denbrock confirmed that notion.

Denbrock, who met with the media after the Irish’s fourth practice of spring camp, said Holmes has started to turn his track speed into football speed. That development could help the Irish fill the void left by Will Fuller, who is headed to the NFL.
