Top-50 2017 Small Forward Lists Notre Dame In Top 10

Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha 2017 four-star small forward D.J. Harvey announced his top 10 earlier this afternoon which included Notre Dame.

The 6-foot-7, 180-pound Harvey listed the Irish along with Villanova, Duke, Louisville, UCLA, Oklahoma, Arizona, Maryland, Connecticut and Texas.

“I have a lot of trust in Coach [Mike] Brey,” Harvey previously told Blue & Gold in April. “It’s easy to approach him and just talk to him about things other than basketball.”

Harvey took an unofficial visit to Notre Dame Oct. 17 weekend for the USC football game.

“It was cold. Notre Dame, though, they love their football,” Harvey said in the same interview. "Everybody was still out there.

“But I loved it out there. It was real calm and chill. Just played [pickup] basketball out there and had fun.”

Harvey will take an official visit to Notre Dame Sept. 9-11.

Harvey is ranked 42nd nationally by Rivals.
